POTC 3 Too stupid for words

Oh God does this movie suck. I don’t know exactly what went wrong here but I could only speculate that this 3rd installment was more about economics and zero on movie-making. I just can’t help but think that this movie was made purely for the money and memorabilia sales. The Halloween costumes, toys, shirts, lunchboxes, cereal boxes, underwear, games, and God knows whatever else must have brought in some unbelievable profits for Disney.

They seem to be the only ones who gained anything from this movie being made. I feel the worst for Johnny Depp. For an actor who once told Hollywood to suck it and opted for smaller more personal movies he sure did have a change of heart.

He moves to France, bashes America , basically calls us and our society all idiots, and then overnight goes from being a great actor who takes small roles to a pandering actor who’s now part of the superstar A list. No one could ever say that Johnny isn’t one of the best actors in Hollywood, but was it just me or did Captain Jack Sparrow begin to get annoying by part 3? The  action sequences were silly and over the top. The storyline is weak and confusing, the light-hearted humor seen in part 1 and 2 is now replaced by childish scenarios and overload of unbelievability. I wonder if Johnny Depp the actor has any trouble looking at himself in the mirror after making this stunningly stale movie? I guess all he has to do it look at his bank accounts to forget about how badly he has sold out . They said some people went back and saw the movie 3, 4, times  because they enjoyed it so much, so maybe these are the American idiots Johnny is referring too. Hopefully soon Johnny can start taking some roles that do his incredible acting ability justice.
